Not all extraction is equal — pulling water off a surface and actually removing it from carpet pad, subfloor, and wall cavities are different jobs entirely. Our Water Extraction crews do the second one.

Different surfaces hold water differently — concrete, hardwood, and carpet pad each need their own extraction technique and dwell time, not a single generic approach applied to all three.
We'd rather explain the water extraction process clearly upfront than have you find out the hard way what a shortcut costs later.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist instead of a specialist.
Commercial extraction units outpull portable equipment on every surface type we work with.
A job isn't finished until moisture readings confirm it, not a visual pass-through.
Less drive time means extraction starts sooner, which matters most in the first hours.
The quote reflects the actual square footage and severity, not a per-gallon meter running up.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each piece of the process below gets its own specific approach.
We clear the obvious water fast, then go after what's still trapped in materials.
Specialized wands lift water between boards without forcing moisture deeper into the wood.
Pad gets extracted independently from the carpet surface, since it retains water far longer.
Slab surfaces absorb and release moisture on a different timeline than wood subfloor.
Furniture and upholstered items get evaluated on-site for extraction versus replacement.
We don't sign off on extraction without a documented reading behind it.
This is the same sequence every water extraction job follows, regardless of size.
A real person answers, asks a few fast questions, and routes the nearest available crew.
Crews staged locally get to your address quickly, equipment already loaded for Water Extraction work.
A technician assesses the scope on-site and provides a written flat-rate quote before any work begins.
A job isn't closed on a visual check — it's closed on a verified reading.
These reviews come from real water extraction calls, not a curated highlight reel.
"Moisture readings after the fact gave me real confidence, not just a verbal assurance."
Jasper L., Greenbrier"They tested pad separately from carpet, which caught moisture I would've missed entirely."
Rosalind P., Greenbrier"No hidden per-gallon charges — the quote held exactly."
Micah S., Greenbrier"The pad testing caught moisture the carpet surface alone never would have revealed."
Fernanda Q., Greenbrier"They walked me through exactly what the moisture meter was reading at each stage."
Zora P., GreenbrierThese are the questions we hear most often about water extraction, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
Aqua Guard Water Damage dispatches water extraction specialists throughout Greenbrier and the surrounding zip codes, including 37073.
